Prepping For Prom

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to my personal blog! Today I have a very informal post for y'all. My prom is right around the corner: May 19th. So, the other day, I went to Sephora and did a makeup trial.

Overall, it was a really cool experience. The session taught me a lot about skincare and how to prep my skin for makeup. The makeup artist also taught me some contouring tricks.

Please excuse my crazy hair, but this is the finished makeup look:

I didn't buy most of the products the makeup artist used on my face, mostly because they were extremely expensive. The highlighter alone was $50. (But, look at that GLOW!)
I bought a cucumber facial cleanser($35) and a highlighter from Tarte ($30). I also got a few freebies as well, including a Laura Mercier powder, a moisturizer, and a hydration mask.
Later on, we went to Ulta where I picked up some primer. I love Benefit's POREfessional primer.
Within the next couple of weeks I'm going to pick up a new foundation/concealer and an …

Baltimore, Maryland

Good evening everyone!

I would first like to apologize for being so absent lately. I've been crazy busy:

-College visits
-Weekend getaway to Baltimore, Maryland
-Bunch of homework

I'm going to talk briefly about my weekend getaway to Baltimore, Maryland. I left Friday morning. That night we went to the Inner Harbor. It was really nice. However, I wish it was warmer. I would have loved to sit on the pier.
Saturday, my sister had two soccer games. She won the first and tied the second. (I forgot my camera or else I would have taken some pictures.)
That night we went to a team dinner at the Greene Turtle. It was packed!
Sunday, my sister had one more game. She did really well, but they lost. So we headed back to Pennsylvania! We stopped for lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings-- so good!
And then we came back and I gave myself a little pamper evening: 7th Heaven face mask.
That pretty much sums up my weekend.
Now, I'm getting ready to step foot back into soccer. We were supposed to …

Painting With A Twist For Kyle's Birthday

Hi everyone!
Welcome back to my personal blog! I am quite sick right now... and rather than feeling sorry for myself, I thought I would type up a quick blog post.
On Sunday, my boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday. We went to a painting class. I actually had a lot of fun (even though I was totally out of my comfort zone).

This is the base. Not too bad for my first time.

Then, we made the trees. Oh, and the moon!

This was the final product. I am so happy with the way it turned out. I'm not much of a painter, but just doing it with someone I care so much about it made it a truly memorable experience.
I'm planning on hanging this painting up in my room.
*You may have already seen these pictures if you're friends with me on Snapchat. I did a whole GRWM for the day too.
Add me @guiliannamarie ! I'm planning on doing some sponsorships on there, as well as more GRWMs.

Thanks for reading,

Practicing Photography

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to my personal blog! I've been absent for a few days now and wanted to share a more interesting post with y'all.

Last weekend, my mom bought the family- a.k.a me- a camera. It is the Canon TS6- I believe. It's incredible!

My boyfriend and I went to the park this morning and got some incredible shots. (We're still learning. This was our first time out with a camera. SO... I think they turned out well.)

Things I Learned This Week

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to my personal blog! This week was rough. I'm not going to lie.

Not only did I learn a lot academically, I learned a lot about myself the person I want to be. Though I was stressed between blog posts, honors essays, etc. I found something I've been looking for- for a long a time.

Work hard for what you really want

This past week I wrote some essays for an honors application. I really want to be apart of this program-- not only will I be given more opportunities, but it will give me a lot more money. I submitted them this morning. I'll keep y'all updated!

Those who matter most will always be there for you

I've found that there are people in my life who encourage me to do my best. I really appreciate those people. A lot.

Other people aren't always there. And don't get me wrong; I completely understand it.

Just a side not for you all: Appreciate the people who tell you they love you constantly and the ones who are proud of you when you s…

Life Lately | 1.22.17

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to my personal blog! I wanted to give you one details as to what has been going on in my life lately:

Last weekend, I went prom dress shopping with my friends. 2 of my friends purchased their prom dresses. They look gorgeous.

I, on the other hand, purchased mine awhile ago. Mine is navy blue. I can't wait to share it with y'all.

P.S. Would you like me to do a post on prom dresses on my main blog? Let me know!

Later on in the week, I received some blogger mail! This is my first PR opportunity. I am working with a vegan beauty brand. I am so excited! Stay tuned on my social media to hear who I'm working with.
Also, I received a sample from Nivea-- one of my favorite brands. I love their lip products.

Next week, I am getting 2 more packages. I'm super excited about that! I am working with a skincare brand and another beauty brand. I'll be sure to post on my Instagram and Snapchat story.

Today, I am going to be working on some homework and an …
